Outer Banks Taste of the Beach Food & Wine Festival

One of the best annual food-centric events found on our shoreline is the OBX Taste of the Beach hosted by the Outer Banks Restaurant Association (OBRA). It encompasses four full days of food, drink and fun with over 50 events at nearly 40 different venues. The Outer Banks Taste of the Beach is the perfect opportunity to sample the fare of many of the fine restaurants here on the OBX, while having a great time doing it. This year's festival starts on Thursday, March 17 and continues through Sunday, March 20, 2016.

Outer Banks BBQ & Wings Showdown

One of the Taste of the Beach events we love most is the annual Outer Banks BBQ & Wings Showdown, now in its 4th year. This family-friendly event is being held Friday, March 18 from noon to 3p.m. at the Soundside event site in Nags Head.
