"Animals in Art" Runs through February & Benefits Local SPCA

Animals are honored during the "Animals in Art" show hosted by Seaside Gallery through February 29. Animals enrich our lives everyday. It could be the joy that a beloved pet brings or the simple pleasure of listening to a song bird.

During the entire month of February, the esteemed Animals in Art Show at Seaside Art Gallery celebrates animals while helping to create a better world for animals. A portion of proceeds from the sale of any item featuring an animal in the gallery from February 1–29, 2016, is donated to the local SPCA to benefit animals. Pieces in the Animals in Art Show can be seen and purchased both in the gallery and online.

The local OBX SPCA provides safe shelter, a loving environment and temporary housing for lost, stray or abandoned domestic animals in the communities in Dare County. The non-profit organization reunites lost pets with their owners, rescues animals from abuse, and implements proactive adoptive and humane education programs.

What better way to buy local artwork and support our OBX artists while also contributing to a great cause! And since the Outer Banks is a pet-friendly beach vacation destination, of course we support this worthy cause.

Are you ready to browse the Animals in Art collection? Stop by the Seaside Gallery in person or look at the collection online. Be sure to take the Seaside Gallery video tour offered on their homepage for a bird's eye view of what you'll find. You're sure to love what you see. Enjoy!
