Taste of the Beach March 19-22

This fantastic four day celebration of Outer Banks cuisine will feature 60 events at almost 40 different venues. Wine tastings, cooking classes, tapas crawls, cook-offs, and more will keep attendees more than entertained as they take in the very best food the Outer Banks has to offer. The highlight of the event will be the Sysco Foods Grand Tasting. 20 local restaurants will prepare a sampling of their finest menu items. The best items will win one of the various TOBy (Taste of the Beach) Awards! Don’t miss out on the awesome culinary action that is set to take place during the 2015 edition of Taste of the Beach!

Outer Banks Seafood Festival October 17th

The Outer Banks Seafood Festival is one of the Outer Banks’ most popular events, and for good reason! Live music, games, and the beach’s best chefs will be on hand to create an experience that will be impossible to forget. The event will take place at the newly renovated Nags Head Event Site overlooking the Roanoke Sound, so it is sure to be better than ever in 2015! It is no secret why the seafood festival is scheduled for the fall as October is one of our beach’s most beautiful times of the year! With that said, grab some friends and amp up your Outer Banks vacation by visiting the Outer Banks Seafood Festival.

Outer Banks Restaurant Week

Like the "Taste of the Beach” event, Outer Banks Restaurant Week is made possible thanks to the Outer Banks Restaurant Association. The dates for the 2015 event have not yet been set but you will certainly want to be on the lookout for them. 2014’s version of OBX Restaurant Week took place in the last week of October and the first week in November, featuring3-course lunch or dinner menus at almost 20 participating restaurants at a fixed price of either $20 or $35. Locals and visitors have been enjoying this excellent opportunity to sample top notch culinary creations for many years, so don’t miss out on the fun!
