Shrimp - America's Favorite Seafood
According to a Coastal Living article, American's eat more shrimp than any other seafood, about 4 pounds per person a year. We know they are great, so how do we make sure we pick the best? Here are a few tips from the article:
1. Frozen or Fresh - either is fine but be sure to look for IQF if they are frozen. This means individually quick frozen.
2. Wild or Farmed - both are great tasting and fisherman of wild fish are now required to follow regulations to help save the turtles.
3. Are they safe to eat - Although only 10% of shrimp are from the Gulf, they are safe to eat. Fishing is prohibited in areas where oil is present and the coast guard monitors these areas.

1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp smoky chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
fresh lime juice
1 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
1/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup chopped sweet pickles
