For the couple searching for a more sophisticated dining experience, Owen’s Restaurant is a must with its’ low lighting and professionally dressed wait staff. Owen’s offers fresh seafood and steaks prepared in a way that will certainly please your taste buds. Owen’s Restaurant opened its doors for the first time in 1946 so they know their local seafood as well as anyone!

Take a Romantic Stroll

If you are looking to watch one of our world famous Outer Banks sunsets, then Jockey’s Ridge State Park is the place for you and your date. Jockey’s Ridge is very convenient for those staying in Nags Head vacation rentals as it is located in the heart of town at Milepost 12. The park is free to enter and is quite popular during the hour before sunset. You and your date will be able to watch the sunset over the sound and Roanoke Island while walking on the tallest natural sand dune on the East Coast.

KDH Movies 10 has the most up to date movies and more movie theatres than any other location. This movie theatre’s tickets are a little on the high end at $11.00 per ticket. However, this is the theatre to visit if you are looking to see one movie in particular.

Another movie theatre option is located in Manteo on Roanoke Island. The Pioneer Theatre in Manteo has been around for decades and is locally owned. This theatre has one screen and shows one movie for a week every night at 8 PM. The Pioneer Theatre is the perfect place for the budget conscious dater as tickets are half the price of those at Kill Devil Hills Movies 10. In addition to the tickets, concessions are quite inexpensive at the Pioneer Theatre.
