Getting to Élan Check-in Center From:

Washington, DC / North VA

From Interstate 95 South (around Richmond) take I-295 South to I-64 East to the Hampton, VA city limits. Take Exit #264 to I-664 & travel approximately 15 miles to Exit 15B, which will take you to the Chesapeake city limits. Take Exit 291B (Nags Head), which will put you onto VA 168 South. Travel about 30 miles and this route will change to US 158 East at Elizabeth City crossroads. Keep driving straight; do not change roads. Go about 25 miles to the Élan Check-In Center on the right, approximately 10 miles after Grandy & 2.5 miles before the Wright Memorial Bridge, across from Saul's Bar-B-Que.


Delaware / New Jersey

From US 13 South through Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, take I-64 East (Chesapeake & Suffold) traveling approximately 8 miles to 291B Exit (Nags Head), which will put you on VA 168 South. Travel about 30 miles and this route will change to US158 East at Elizabeth City crossroads. Keep driving straight; do not change roads. Go about 25 miles to the Élan Check-In Center on the right, approximately 10 miles after Grandy and 2.5 miles before the Wright Memorial Bridge, across from Saul's Bar-B-Que.


Norfolk International Airport

From Norfolk Airport take I-64 East for approximately 8 miles to 291B Exit ( Nag Head) which will put you on VA 168 South. Travel about 30 miles and this route will change to US158 East at Elizabeth City crossroads. Keep driving straight; do not change roads. Raleigh & West

From Beltway 440 take 64 EAST and travel through Rocky Mount and Williamston, NC. Take Route 17 North and travel via Edenton to Elizabeth City. Take 158 East towards Nags Head and travel 45 miles to Powells Point and to the Élan Check-In Center on the right, approximately 10 miles after Grandy and 2.5 miles before the Wright Memorial Bridge, across from Saul's Bar-B-Que.
